TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

SALES POLICY: As active members of THE INDUSTRIAL SUPPLY ASSOC (ISA), we support the VALUE ADDED services of our partners in Industrial Distribution. Our products are exclusively sold through selected, authorized industrial distributors who meet our high standards of business ethics and customer service capabilities.

PAYMENT TERMS: Our normal payment terms are NET 30 DAYS for authorized distributors in good standing. Accounts in arrears are subject to both shipment and production HOLD, as well as C.O.D. status on furure orders. First Time orders and for distributors not in good credit standing our payment term is “CASH ON DELIVERY” or for special tools is “CASH ON RECIEPT OF ORDER”. Payment for these orders are cash, money order, certified check, Mastercard or Visa. C.O.D. shipments are sent only via United Parcel Service.

SPECIAL QUOTATIONS: On special quotations, pricing is valid for a period of thirty (30) days unless otherwise specified. Items in stock can be shipped upon receipt of order, subject to prior sale. For items not in stock, the delivery date is an estimate based on our factory schedule, and is subject to delays due to manufacturing conditions, strikes, fires, failure to receive material, and other causes beyond our control.

CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation of orders placed and accepted can be made only with our consent, and upon terms that will indemnify us against loss. Special orders cancelled are subject to a cancellation fee proportionate to the amount of the coast accumulated prior to cancellation. Orders for standard catalog products can be cancelled at no charge providing the tools have not been shipped.

OVER/UNDERSHIPMENTS: Unless your order specifies NO OVERSHIPMENTS” Moon Cutter policy follows industry practice on altered standard and special orders, which is to start 10% over the quantity ordered. We will ship and bill the quantity completed, which could be as much as 10% over or 10 % under the quantity ordered. On quantities from one to nine, our standard shipping tolerance is plus or minus one piece. Orders that specify “NO OVER OR UNDER” (exact quantity) are subject to a premium charge.

RETURNED GOODS: All returned goods must have a “Return Goods Authorization Number”. Contact our customer service to obtain a “RGA” PRIOR to returning any tools. Standard cutters in resaleable condition are subject to a restocking fee of 15%. We cannot accept any products that have been discontinued or in quantities that are unusually large as compared to our annual sales for that particular item. STANDARD CUTTERS ARE NOT RETURNABLE IF ALTERED IN ANY WAY (i.e.: customer alteration, coatings etc).Any ALTERED STANDARDS OR SPECIAL CUTTERS/SETS ARE NOT RETURNABLE.

PRODUCT WARRANTY: We guarantee our products will conform to the dimensions listed on customer blueprints or orders. Dimensions not listed will conform the the current United States Cutting Tool Institute (USCTI) manufacturing standards. Our warranty is limited to repair, replacement, or full credit for the tools found not to be within specifications, at our option.

Moon Cutter Co., Inc. cannot be responsible for the performance of, or compliance with, specifications, nor can we accept for return, any tool that has been altered in any way by our customers. This includes: surface treatments, coatings, flats, tangs, markings, or any geometric alterations.
